Innovative Designs

It all begins with the plan, and that's particularly important if the potential garden area offers difficulties, as it does here. An odd shaped lot, and a steep slope downward from the house mandated a design that maximized usable space for the clients' children, yet avoided the big, ugly box look of so many suburban back yards. Beginning with the beautifully articulated circular brick terrace, a series of cobbled edged circles cascades down the hill to the play area and woods beyond.
